Friends
Doing art with friends, is one of the best ways to stay creative. You don't have to paint or draw the same thing; just sharing the process can be great fun and inspiring.
It is one of my favourite things to look forward every week: spending two hours with friends painting or drawing. Since we all decided to take part in Leslie Stroz's 100 tiny paintings in a year, the meetings have become even more fun.
We have a private group, where we share our paintings and support each other, and share ideas to keep going since this is a longer project than what we would normally do.

What a wonderful way to keep your creative spirit in practice, with friends.
ReplyDeleteIt is also a good time to catch up since there are no phones distracting us - just art 🥰
DeleteThis sounds like so much fun! I wish I had a group of friends (even just 2 or 3) who would enjoy doing something like this!
ReplyDeleteWe started the group when one of them asked me to teach her how to draw - that was during our lockdown for COVID. We had a group because we are all writers, so already knew each other. We have been going non-stop since then. Perhaps you can start a group for another type of creative activity like colouring, or collage. Many people find drawing or painting intimidating, but other forms of creating could interest them. Thank you for visiting my blog today, Wendy. 💜
DeleteHow fun.
