My reply: To be honest, Lissa, it took me a while to remember 🤦🏼♀️ because once I created the blog in 2011, I didn't think about it again. Until today. 😃
Although the dragonfly is my favourite insect, it is a predator and not quite the image I wanted for my blog. I do like butterflies and picked them for the aesthetic side of creativity. The broom can represent many things, but when it comes to creativity, to me, it represents the "work and effort" side of things. Not in a negative way, but art or any creative project requires some effort to make it happen.
Thank you for your question, Lissa, and the reminder of why I chose the name.

That's a good explanation for the name. I think butterflies took a while to become this beautiful creature so it can represent the process. I'm not much into metaphors so I sometimes prefer a literal meaning. Thanks for answering my question.

HI Lissa, trust me, I might be a writer but metaphors are not a strong point. In fact, I used pretty much the same name to register my company. Not exactly the same, the regulators didn't allow it, but there you go. Thank you for your question, and may you have an awesome Sunday! 🙋♀️
